June 25 You will come to Augusta to the newly renovated Quality Inn. A reception will be held that evening.
Official tour begins at 7:30 am on June 26.
We will travel to Cape Neddik in York, go to a Lighthouse Museum. Drive past the Bush summer home in Kennebunkport on our way to the Twin Lights in Cape Elizabeth where we will have lunch. This is one of the most beautiul places in Maine. Other things planned for the day are visits to The Portland Bug Light, Spring Point Ledge Light and Portland Head.
With a stop in Freeport to L.L.Bean and dinner at the Jamison Tavern. Back to Augusta for the night.
JUNE 27 8:am we go to the Pemaquid Light where you can climb the tower. Rest of the day will be spent in Boothbay Harbor with a visit to the Living Lighthouse that takes us back in time to when the lights were managed by a lightkeeper and his family. You will be able to explore the quaint little town and have lunch. A special evening is planned. Overnight in the area.
JUNE 28 Today you will see
Marshall Point lighthouse, which was featured in the movie Forrest Gump,take a cruise around the bay to see Jamie Wyeth's Light, Two Bush and Whitehead Lights. This is the area where our Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts has a summer home. Lunch at a lobster dock. Other lighthouses will be Owl's Head Light, Rockland Breakwater, and a visit to the Lighthouse Museum and Gift Shop. Dinner and overnight in the area.
JUNE 29
Our last lighthouse to see,will be Curtis Island in Camden and thing's we may not have had time for as planned.
Back to Augusta in mid-afternoon.

July 29 Come to Augusta to the Quality Inn...a reception that evening
July 30 Tour begins at 7:30 am with a trip to Southern Maine. Lighthouses today are Cape Neddik, Portland Head, Twin Lights-Cape Elizabeth, Bug Light and Spring Point Ledge.
Lighthouse museum, a drive past the Bush Compound in Kennebunkport, Lunch at a Lighthouse, shop at L.L.Bean and dinner at Jameson Tavern in Freeport. Back to Augusta for the night.
July 31 At 7:30 am today we travel to the Mid-coast - Lighthouses to see are Pemaquid Light, Marshall Point, Whitehead, Two Bush and Tenant's Harbor Light (known to residents as Jamie Wyeth's Light)
Owls Head and Rockland Breakwater lights. A visit to the Lighthouse Museum.
Dinner in the area and overnight at the Trade Winds.
August 1 At 7:30 we continue our tour DownEast, with a stop at Fort Point Light in Stockton Springs. Continuing on to Bar Harbor and a Lighthouse Cruise.
Dinner in Bar Harbor and overnight in one of BH's Bed and Breakfasts.
Aug 2 at 7:30 am we continue to the PURE Down East. Lighthouses here are the West Quoddy Light, the easternmost light in the U.S., the Lubec Channel Light and in Canada the East Quoddy and Mulholland Lights. A whale watch in the Bay of Fundy and more. Dinner and overnight in Canada on Campobello Island. You will be able to visit the summer home of former Pres. FDR.
Aug 3 7:30 am Back to Bar Harbor with a stop at Helen's Restaurant for mid morning snack - how about a piece of Helen's famous Blueberry pie?
(It's blueberry season in Maine and you will be in the blueberry capital of the world).
Lighthouse today is the picturesque Bass Harbor Light. You will have time to spend in the quaint and lovely town of Bar Harbor and visit the shops.
A Lobster Bake that evening and overnight at a B&B.
Aug 4 at 8 am we will tour the loop up Cadillac Mountain, stop at Jordan Pond Restaurant for Popovers (you can't go up the mountain without stopping here).
Back to Augusta middle to late that afternoon

July 10 Come to Augusta to the Quality Inn...a reception will be held that evening.
July 11 tour begins at 8 am when we travel to Boothbay Harbor and take a boat trip.
Go to Burnt Island Light where you will go back in time to when the Lighthouse was cared for by a Keeper...more lighthouses and other things to see and do today.
July 12 Pemaquid light, you may climb the tower. Then on to Marshall Point Lighthouse,
a cruise around the Bay to see Jamie Wyeth's lighthouse (Tenants Harbor Whitehead, Two Bush Light,)
Lunch at a Lobster dock where you may see the Lobster men coming in with their 'catch of the day'.
July 13 Owls Head Light, Rockland Breakwater, The new Lighthouse Museum and more...
This tour (as well as all the tours) subject to slight

Back to Augusta mid to late afternoon.
