Lighthouse Day, in 2010, is being celebrated on September 18. Maine Expressions is offering a great "Getaway Weekend". This weekend will give you a chance to unwind and enjoy a time planned just for you.
Friday evening you will come to one of Augusta's finest Inns where a reception is planned.
Saturday will be a day of visiting lighthouses.
The U S Coast Guard is opening many of Maine's lighthouses up and down the coast, some of which, are not usually open to the public. After a full day of lighthouses, you will spend an evening full of mystery and just plain fun.
This is a great chance for a last summer fling before settling into the fall routine.
Leave your cares on your doorstep and treat yourself to a real fun weekend.
Included: 2 nights, 2 breakfasts,
meet'n greet reception with refreshments,
dinner on Saturday and
a "wicked-good" time.
Use of the outdoor heated pool, exercise room and more is, also, included.
This tour is limited so it is advisable to reserve early if you are interested.
